Making Rural Health Work
The PROBLEM
Rural health isn’t failing from a lack of intent. It’s failing from a lack of infrastructure.
Clinicians and frontline workers are buried in administrative work. These are valuable hours that could be spent with patients, but instead, are lost to the system. And the tools they’re handed were never built for the challenges of rural realities—low bandwidth, long distances between locations, and stretched-thin teams—preventing the right care from reaching the right patient at the right time.
And so, the same problems keep growing: The sick get sicker, outreach doesn’t reach far enough, and outcomes aren’t forthcoming.
It's time for change
The Solution
We’re creating technology-enabled solutions purpose-built for rural healthcare.
That means tools that are designed to run in low-connectivity settings, that build on the trusted relationships clinicians have with the communities they serve, and that deliver impact through proven, real-world deployments—not one-off pilots. We’re here to strengthen local capacity, not replace it.
The name Fielden comes from an old English word meaning “of the fields.” It is where the work actually happens. Not in theory. Not in policy decks. But in real life.

We are built on three core beliefs:

01
Care teams’ time is best spent serving patients.

02
Technology can free up care teams to focus more on patients by reducing administrative burden.

03
The best solutions meet rural communities where they are—tailored for local conditions, not borrowed from urban systems.
Our Team
Proven Expertise, From Care Delivery To Tech Innovation
Our healthcare operators have driven care in underserved communities nationwide, and our technologists have built the systems powering the modern world at Google, Amazon, and Microsoft.
But we don’t parachute in: we build alongside the providers, clinicians, and local organizations who have served these communities long before we arrived, and we work through partners with a physical presence in the states where we operate. Pairing national-caliber technology with deep local roots is how we make transformation real—not theoretical.
Together, we are united by a shared mission to expand access to quality healthcare across rural America.
